Episode 28 - Somebody Blew Up Our Recording Studio

Greetings, everyone!

Sorry this is coming out so late. As I explain in the episode, we had to record from the sub-sub-sub basement in a back quadrant of Section D, so you know what that's like. Kind of noisy and we only get mono recording capabilities. But be that as it may, we still wanted to get you something this week!

Realistically, there isn't much going on this week, as I'm still trying to establish a firm communications link with Palladium. As soon as that comes to life, I'm sure we'll be able to furnish you with a lot more up-to-date information and exciting speculation as to what's going to happen in the future. As it is, there are a lot of really fun things on the horizon, all of which will be great to stroke beards (real or imagined) for months to come.

As always, the Coalition States appreciates your time and loyalty. Keep checking back!
Carry on, Citizens.

P.S.: Last week's release of LOT16 is behind schedule due to the D-Bee attack. We've got people working at a fairly quick pace to repair the broadcast facilities so we can get that out, but we may not be able to put that out until a little bit later. Look for it next week, or at least an update as to what's become of it.

Episode 27 - The Deadboys are Going Rogue!

Hello again, Citizens!

First off, I (Jeff) want to apologize for this post being late. I've been having some technical difficulties and haven't been able to get it up until now.

So, here's the question of the day. How useful is a rogue, really? When you've got a barbarian that has an absurd amount of M.D.C., how big a role does a rogue character play within a party?

As Matt points out, Palladium makes a huge rules distinction between fighting classes like a barbarian and a roguish/thief class: one of the main ones is that if you want to play a roguish character, one thing you can't really do is get hit. Palladium is good about limiting the power of a rogue, but what about a barbarian? Listen as we chat about how other players can work with a combat-heavy character that can "discover" all the traps within a dungeon for themselves and contribute to the story.

The CDAPS: LOT 16, Episode 2

Greetings, citizens and my most sincere apologies.

I know I've not been very good to get these episodes out on time--I try to have everything posted early each Friday morning, but that rarely seems to happen nowadays. No, it isn't intended to be a satire of Palladium Books and the delays that seem to plague a lot of its projects. It's just that . . . well, I (Jeff) kinda forget about stuff until very late Thursday night. That being said, I'm going to try doing better in the future (knocking on wood).

That being said, we hope you enjoy the second part of LOT 16, the first campaign brought to you by the Coalition Deadboys Actual Play Series.

We live for feedback, so if you feel so inclined, please give us a rating on iTunes, leave comments here or get involved in the community on g+. We're also on Facebook, Obsidian Portal and RPG.net. You can also send us an email directly at coalitiondeadboys@gmail.com.

Until next time, keep clear of the mutagenic goo and keep your heads down.
